The Halifax County Public Schools Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) established for the purpose of creating and enhancing educational opportunities for children attending public schools in Halifax County, Virginia. The foundation was organized in March 2005, by Paul Stapleton, former HCPS Superintendent of Schools.

The HCPS Education Foundation strives to champion students, families, and educators through educational opportunities to create stronger schools and a brighter future for the entire community. We envision a thriving Halifax County where every student is inspired to achieve, every educator is supported to succeed, and the entire community grows stronger through education.

I believe deeply in the power of education to transform a community, by strengthening our schools we are strengthening Halifax County’s future.
